Thanksgiving is over and that means it's time to start thinking about spring clothes! 

I'm feeling this J Press catalogue from Spring Sumer 1961. Maybe a cotton madras or print jacket?

Anyone else thinking spring?

I'M TAKING SOME LABELS AND HEADING OUT OF TOWN...

And I start thinking about a cotton unlined foulard blazer for Spring. 

My collection of 'Gentry' magazines does that. Gets my imagination running.

plaid over-shirt...in lilac. Take the simplest thing, put it in an unexpected color and 'bingo' - it's totally different.

Went to a photo shoot yesterday to help out. Fun because no one was an a**hole. That makes all the difference in how a shoot (or anything else) plays out. 

No one cried and no one threw anything...amazing.

Now Audrey (her sitter) won't move to Canada. Now my parents won't go crazy. Now my point won't be defeated. Now my mom won't think she didn't help. All because he won.

When it happened, there was shrieking outside. The first thing that went through my mind was: oh great, some drunk party. Now how will I fall asleep. Drunk party. That's until my dad called me. I crawled up the stairs. And then it really happened for real. More screams. Happiness.

Obama wins!

(dad/designerman transcribes this with enormous pride and a big smile on his face) 

"CAN YOU POP THE TRUNK, PLEASE..."

I heard this guy say as he put his new dehumidifier in the back of a taxi. That got me to look over my shoulder to see who was speaking. 

A nice surprise to see someone in a jacket, dress pants, and groovy hat. All done in a very new way, of course.
